Manpower is currently recruiting for Customer Care Professionals to work on a contract with American Express. This is a temporary position from 23rd July 2018 until December 2018 based in Brighton, and potentially longer term with good performance in the role.

You will be the main point of contact for a wide variety of customer queries. This may include enquiries about membership rewards, payment for bills or general complaints. You will be entirely focused on inbound calls, as this role involves no sales or outbound calling. Full comprehensive training will be provided so that you are fully confident in handling any inquiry. You will also be rewarded with a possible bonus for good performance!

The Centre is open 24/7 however shifts will be limited to between the times of 7:00am & 10:00pm Monday to Sunday. Shift allowance may be paid for some shift. Shifts are changed every 6 months via a shift bid programme.

You will be working in the Customer Engagement Team to ensure you are delivering the absolute best customer service on behalf of AMEX as part of their Customer First campaign. The ideal candidate needs to have experience in customer care; however previous experience in a contact centre is not essential.

  • Help propel your team to success
  • Deliver extraordinary care, on calls, to a wide range of American Express customers with a variety of requests
  • Build meaningful relationships through consultative questioning to ensure added value for the customer
  • Offer custom solutions and negotiate a positive outcome for the customer and American Express, aiming for first call resolution when possible
  • Meet and exceed quality goals, compliance regulations and productivity targets

  • Re-prioritise to adapt to the ever changing environment
