An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Engineer with Subsea or Offshore experience to join our clients operation at the Port of Blyth.

Reporting in to and under to guidance of the Support Manager the purpose of this role is to undertake commissioning and service activities on large bespoke projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

To assist the Support Manager in developing commissioning plans

The provide experienced input to develop the commissioning and test plans including FAT's and sea trials

To manage and maintain the departments equipment and assets.

To assist in the resolution of technical issues.

To develop and complete suitable documentation including punch lists, test records acceptance certs and close out reports.

To record customer feedback on the performance of equipment

Person Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive individual who is driven, passionate and willing to undertake training and instruction.

Someone with a broad scope of Engineering knowledge and practices, who is able to complete hands on tasks when required to do so and is committed to continuous improvement with excellent attention to detail

Essential Skills

The ability to read and interpret Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic schematics and drawings

Competency in the use of all Microsoft Office products

Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

The ability to fault find and problem solve.

The willingness to work away from home for extended periods as and when the project requires you to do so.

Desirable skills

Several year's experience in on-site and or offshore environments.

Supervisory experience.
