Analyst

Our client, a leading energy provider in the UK are looking for a Portfolio Reconciliation Analyst to join their expanding Team in Coventry.

In this role you will play a key part in working alongside Customer Service Account Managers to ensure accurate and timely billing for our customers. This will include checking invoices for imbalances and manipulating raw data. It will be down to you to make recommendations for process improvements identified through root cause analysis. As well as this, you will partner with internal stakeholders and have a large part to play in interfacing with industry agents such as Xoserve, Meter Asset Managers and other suppliers.

Pay rate: £11.65 per hour

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 with an early finish on Friday

Location: Westwood Business Park Coventry

Length of Assignment: Ongoing (no anticipated end date)

Skill Set Required:

Essential

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Demonstrable experience of managing complex queries to a successful resolution
• IT literate, with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
• A proven ability to interrogate data, draw conclusions and provide considered recommendations to management level
• Sound stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Self-motivated, able to prioritise own workload to achieve stretching targets and challenging deadlines

Desirable

• SQL would be advantageous
• Recent energy industry experience
• Knowledge of recent of changes to the energy industry, regulatory changes and their potential impact on billing and settlement
