Our client is currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a busy team in Minley.

Salary: £18,700

Shifts: Monday - Friday + There is a requirement to support a Sunday afternoon rota, which is in addition to normal contracted hours and will be paid as overtime. This would be a minimum of 1 in 4 per month, however requirements are in line with Operational demands and therefore flexibility is required

Driving license is essential.

The key accountabilities of the job holder are as follows;

Meet and greet all visitors ensuring that they undertake the appropriate security checks. Notify the host of visitor arrivals, and direct accordingly

  • Issue the appropriate personal security passes and vehicle parking permits, using the Strategic Imaging System
  • Issue and control security classified keys
  • Provide cover for other parts of the Admin Services Team including Reception, Mail Services and Reprographics
  • Assist with the delivery and collection of all postal requirements within 3 RSME Minley (including local sites)
  • Check vehicle parking spaces i.e. that parked vehicles have valid vehicle parking permits
  • Patrol around the site on a regular basis checking cars are parked in areas, issue enforcement notices as authorised
  • Issue and control security secure keys
  • Ensure that the in-house Sisys security system is up to date
  • Provide administration support to other departments
  • Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times
  • Additional projects/ tasks as directed by the Administration Services Supervisor
  • Any other duties which are reasonably to be expected in line with Service delivery

All uniform will be provided. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must hold a full driving licence suitable for use in the UK (essential)
  • Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent (essential)
  • Proven track record of working within a busy customer focused organisation(essential)
  • Proven track record in administration (essential)
  • Experience in a customer facing role (essential)
  • Experience in carrying out multifunctional activities (essential)
  • Computer Literate (essential)
  • Qualified authorised Unit Postal Operator (UPO) (desirable)
  • Experience of operating equipment such as copiers, laminators, binding machines (desirable)
