We are currently seeking Permanent Administrative Assistants in Glasgow city centre ASAP, offering a salary of £16 - £18k and excellent benefits. The hours are 0830 - 1700 hrs Monday to Friday, please see below for more information;

Due to proposed growth within our Glasgow office we are looking for experienced Administrators to join us within our Support & Customer Service teams. You'll be based in our vibrant modern offices in Glasgow city centre, working in a very friendly interactive environment which requires professional individuals to become an integral part of our business.

We work on behalf of many large clients such as Banks, utility, telecoms and large retail organisations whose customers have fallen behind with their repayments. We then work with the customers to understand their ability to repay the debt helping them back to financial health ensuring our customers are treated fairly.

What we would like you to have:

  • Good computer and keyboard skills
  • Knowledge of word and excel
  • Ability to manage large volumes of work
  • Excellent letter writing skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multi skill
  • Organised approach and good time management skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Good administrative skills
  • Some experience of finance and industry regulators would be an advantage
  • Good telephone manner

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing and processing of all documentation/correspondence received in the department.
  • Raising and resolving queries/document requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and manage all outstanding fulfilment requests/queries.
  • Record details of requests, interactions, actions and documentation on systems.
  • Customer records to be kept up to date and accurate at all times.
  • Taking ownership of urgent/escalated requests received internally and externally.
  • Ensure any responses or follow up on interactions are completed in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner.
  • Managing client files
  • Maintaining and building relationships with clients, and our external partners.
  • Ensure scanning, filing and archiving is kept up to date
  • Answer incoming and make outbound calls to resolve queries and questions
