An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation; our client is currently looking for a Customer Service Specialist based at their prestigious facility in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to a maximum of £25,350 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.Main Job Purpose:

Main Job Purpose:

The customer service team in UI acts as an integral part of the sales process, delivering value-added service to our customers through efficient and robust order management and communication, logistics execution and solutions, proactive approach to problem solving and a passion for delighting the customer. This is a highly dynamic environment with a heavy emphasis on managing fast paced global customer channels.


Responsibilities:

  • Customer order processing and delivery management
  • All relevant documentation for export organised and delivered OTIF
  • VAT Proof of export documentation.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure communication to customers is provided on product changes, dispatch of orders etc.
  • Ensure any information required from customers is provided
  • Monitor customer orders as advised during low stocks
  • Measure customer service level
  • Issue of credit notes and manage returns/damages
  • Ensure all documentation is in place for Export Clearance
  • Ensure Load Efficiency

Consultation

  • Feedback on issues opportunities to improve customer service
  • Coordinate timings of NPD, code changes with planning team
  • Co-ordinate issues/opportunities for Customer Service Team for Supply Chain Manager

Information

  • Customer Range Changes
  • Credit Controls


Professional Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain.

  • Candidates with APICS certification.


Experience Required

ESSENTIAL

  • Order Processing and Stock Management in the order to cash cycle
  • Understanding the customer and managing the strategic relationship

PREFERRED

  • SAP
  • Managing customer service performance
