Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Technical Administrator based at their prestigious facility in Leeds. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 9 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying £24,847 per annum pro rata.
Background/general purpose of position:
Drive EEM (electrical, engineering and manufacturing) pillar activities, achieve measures and support the masterplan through the application of WCM (World Class Manufacturing) principles, the development/implementation of future technology, whilst adhering to company policies and statutory regulations.
Support Project Leaders and Engineers producing appropriate technical documentation relating to standard manufacturing procedures (SMP)/standard operating procedures (SOP), safety, technical files and EEM information. Enter projects in to the marlin system and order placement via Ariba. Support project Leaders executing commissioning programme.
Principal responsibilities
Support Project Leaders/Engineers in creating SMPs/SOPs on both small and large projects
Support engineers putting project files together
Create documentation for demonstrating EEM compliance and gate compliance
Entering new projects into Marlin
Order placement via Ariba
Maintain MP Database
Preparation of handover files
Support Project leaders executing commissioning programme with SOP'S, SMPS's, machine ledgers and training.
Outputs/Performance Metrics
OTIF delivery of projects
Capex reduction - 10% thru Value Engineering and Procurement Savings
Safety in Project Execution
Compliance with project procedures
Customer/Stakeholder Feedback
Deliver projects balancing cost, technical and resources
Establishing unique ways to solve technical problems relating to masterplan, safety, quality, cost challenges and product innovation
Use of EEM 7 Step approach
Use of WCM continuous improvement methodology
Key experience and Qualifications required
NVQ equivalent in a relevant Engineering/Manufacturing discipline
IOSH Managing safely and Process Safety
Minimum 2 years practical technical/project documentation experience
Project execution experience
WCM or TPM EEM pillar implementation
Ideally an engineering qualification NVQ level 2/3
