My client is looking for an experienced administrator to be based in Southbank, Central London. Ideally applicants will have 6 to 12 months office based experience and who are now looking to take the next step in their career. Successful applicants will be highly organised and proactive with strong MS Office skills.

This role will require you to receive DSARs, check and assess scope, respond to data subject. Initiate collection of personal data from individuals named in DSAR (follow up promptly as necessary owing to one month deadline to complete process), review, remove duplication, redact applying applicable exemptions (as trained and guided by HR and Legal/Data Privacy). Package personal data bundle and send to data subject. Also liaising with the Privacy team as regards structured data in relation to a DSAR (the structured and unstructured data, once redacted for duplication's and exemption, will need to be provided to the data subject by the UK DSAR team). Must be efficient, organised, reliable and have absolute integrity and discretion (much of the data will include Client confidential information, personal data and sometimes sensitive personal data).

Alongside this you will oversee and manage the Data Administrator team work. Give advice, guidance and support to the team; handle the most sensitive DSARs (for example involving data of our client execs or where there the data subject is in litigation against our client. Manage and track the DSAR workload to ensure steps are completed on time and statutory deadlines (supply of personal data one month from DSAR receipt) are met. Support team in escalations if documents are not supplied promptly by data custodians. Be the primary point of contact for the DSAR responsible people in HR and Legal/Data Privacy; including raising novel or complex queries. Building and maintaining a knowledge bank within the DSAR team to make the team effective and the work rewarding, and to grow best practice over time. Identify ways to simplify or improve the client's DSAR process.
