Technician – BMW Group

£8.87 - £16.07 per hour (dependent on experience) plus opportunity to earn uncapped bonus (£28,000 - £29,000 per annum average OTE)

As a Technician, you’ll carry our repair and maintenance work for our customers, using diagnostic equipment.

You’ll put your strong understanding of electronics, software engineering, and mechanical engineering to good use, as you undertake systematic vehicle health checks to identify any immediate faults and longer-term issues. With a timely and meticulous approach, you’ll conduct regular servicing tasks and source new parts, before briefing our internal staff on the work undertaken, so they can explain any issues to our customers.

Alongside a Level 2 NVQ in vehicle service and repair (or equivalent), you will now have some practical experience working as a junior Technician in a retailer or workshop and be looking to move onto the next level of your career. You will also be expected to have a full UK driving license. Resilient, adaptable and motivated, you’ll be passionate about keeping up with the latest automotive technology. And, as a target-orientated team player, your good time management skills will set you apart.
