Machine Operative, Machine Operator.

Location: - Leicester - Enderby

Shifts: - FIXED Days 12 hour shifts.

Shift Pattern - 3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off.

Hourly Rate:-

£9.00 (£19,656) increasing to £9.54 (£20,835) - Days.

Contract Type: - Temporary to Permanent.

Manpower is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturer in Leicestershire. My client has sites across the UK and well established in their sector. We are looking for a number of Machine Operatives, Machine Operator to join the team on either fixed days or fixed nights depending on your preference. These opportunities have become available due to growth and brand new machinery installation.

As a Machine Operative, Machine Operator your responsibilities are:-

• Maintain and Operate your Machine.
• Run and observe the flow of material through your machine.
• Loading of material on to your machine which can weigh up to 20kg with the assistance of a trolley jack.
• Switch out rolls of material.
• Follows instructions on work orders.
• Checks machines and ensures that each job is running well.
• There is an element of manual handing in this role.

Skills needed to be successful as a Machine Operative, Machine Operator:-

• Has a "can do" attitude.
• Wants to learn and naturally asks questions.
• Able to work in line with Health and Safety.
