Manpower is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Business Manager to work on a contract for West Sussex County Council.
The primary outcome of this role is to produce an outline business proposal by the end of November 2018 that considers a range of options which clearly align to WSCC's sufficiency duty and commissioning strategy. It will include identification of the pros/cons/opportunities/risks) for the future of the residential provision within West Sussex and include a robust commercial analysis for each option.
The ideal candidate will already have built a reputation for operating in complex commissioning environments, ideally within a children's social care/residential setting and may also have experience of capital and infrastructure delivery. In addition they will need to have a high degree of credibility to be able to develop options with key internal and external stakeholders. Ideally they will have held the position of service manager for a residential estate or registered manager for a specific residential service.
