Condition Monitoring Engineer - Bardon

Salary - £38,000 per annum

Responsibilities

  • To provide technical and engineering support, repair and maintenance of Heavy Mobile Equipment.
  • Quality, HS&E compliance and external and internal audit finding
  • Inspections on Heavy Mobile Equipment
  • Review LOLER & PUWER reports to ensure compliance and action any defects through the Service Controller. Ensure that the FMS is updated with the corrective action and any documentation.
  • Review Brake Test reports to ensure compliance and action any defects through the Service Controller

Experience

  • Significant experience with heavy plant and equipment engineering in the quarrying and aggregates, or associated, industry. Ideally, as a experienced plant engineer in both the workshop and field.
  • Experience of overseeing repair and maintenance activities in the workshop and in the field.
  • Experience and an understanding of condition monitoring principles to promote operational and safety performance and optimum whole life cost of the asset.
  • Experience of working within quality accreditation standards (ISO).
  • Experience of a working within a culturally strong SHEQ environment.

Skills

  • Recognised construction plant and equipment qualification
  • Quarry Safety Passport or an equivalent health and safety qualification is desirable
  • Knowledge of heavy mobile plant and auxiliary equipment rules and legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop innovative engineering solutions to problems and maximise opportunities.
