Sales Executive - Plant Machinery

Manpower have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join a leading brand of plant equipment supplying to the construction industry across the western areas of Northern Ireland, covering the Donegal, Tyrone and Derry territories.

We are looking for a candidate with proven sales experience and knowledge of plant machinery. Previous experience in plant machinery sales or Agri/Truck sales would be advantageous.

The Role:

• Promote and sell a range of machinery products and services across new and used machinery, parts, service and repair packages to customers in your area
• Develop relationships with prospective customers, identify potential needs and pitch to customers
• Carry out business development and market research activities, get to know your competitor offerings and understand your customers
• Pitch product offerings to customers that meet their needs and negotiate deals to secure sales
• Carry out and record customer site visits, calls and meaningful interactions
• Liaise with Sales Manager and other departments
• Respond to customer queries in a timely manner and keep in regular contact with customers to obtain sales of Company products and services
• Maintain a positive and professional representation of yourself, the brand and the company

What we are looking for:

• The successful person will be a proven sales professional with preferably experience in the Plant or HGV Truck industry
• Good commercial awareness with the ability to communicate with people at all levels and develop positive business relationships
• Track record in business development and strong closing/negotiating ability
• Full driving license required

The position comes with a high base salary plus commission upon agreed targets, in addition to company vehicle, generous holidays, pension, health cash plan
