Class 2 Tipper Driver

Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our client based in Reading.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be based at the Reading site, delivering and collecting materials and tipper haulage across different landfill sites driving both off and on road. There is no manual handling involved in this role.

You will undergo an assessment day which includes classroom work (heath and safety, depot rules etc.), shadowing of an experienced driver and then a practical of both driving the vehicle and using the controls for the tipper.

You must have previous experience driving tipper vehicles, preferably 1 year minimum, although do not require any additional qualifications or certificates such CSCS cards etc.

PPE required - safety boots, high vis jacket or vest and hard hat. If you do not obtain these, we are able to supply.

You will be working on average 10hours per day, starting anywhere between 6:30am to 8:00am, Monday to Friday. Occasionally you may be asked to work on Saturday which would online be 4hours.
