Skilled Electrician - Temp to perm opportunity - Exeter

Your new role as an Electrician will be working with a hardworking team of maintenance professionals who are responsible for keeping the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital running smoothly. This role is Monday to Friday only, 8am to 4pm. You will be working in a varied environment where no 2 days will be the same so a high level of previous experience is essential.

About the role

This is a varied role where no 2 tasks will be the same so if you're looking for a role where you are never clock watching this will be a great opportunity for you. On a daily basis you will be carrying out routine work and repairs on all electrical equipment while ensuring that you are always working within Health and Safety policies. You will be proficient in the safe use of all hand, machine tools and test equipment, applicable to trade, and able to carry out speedy, effective repairs and planned preventative maintenance on all types of equipment.

About the candidate

To succeed in this role you will be an apprentice trained electrician with an NVQ Level 3, have the latest Edition of IEE certification, be able to install, maintain and repair electrical equipment. You will also have an in-depth and continuing experience in an electrical role, ideally within a hospital environment.
