An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Data Strategist (Consumer Insight/ Brands), based at their prestigious facility in Blackfriars. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying £53,600- £62,700 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

To form part of a transformational team to drive data strategy for the Home Care business, and ensure the category is at the forefront of digital in the world of data across our brands and publisher sites. This role will be tasked with accelerating our progress in digital, with a clear understanding of how to collect and use data strategically in the consumer products industry, along with an agile test and learn approach.

This person with have a Digital Analytics Manager reporting into them, to support the operational elements of the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy:

  • Formulate and drive a data strategy for Home Care
  • Understand the opportunities across our ecosystem from owned sites, media and e-commerce, to contribute to the data we hold
  • Develop initiatives and programmes to increase the amount of data we capture, and use
  • Work closely with the central data team to ensure our category are at the leading edge of technology and data opportunities
  • Drive adoption of the strategy across our supporting teams and brands: including media planning, tech infrastructure rollout, IT, consumer research
  • Present data that informs our Consumer Experience (CX) and digital strategy decisions
  • Consider the application in our brand campaigns and always on
  • Upskill the team on how to use and understand data in CPG

Operational:

  • Build a new capability of in house data analytics and performance management
  • Use the tools available to run routine reporting requests from the teams in Home Care with speed
  • Set up automated reporting where possible
  • Scope new opportunities and market growth ideas for our various websites
  • Assess performance and funnel analysis to optimise CX
  • Support in any live marketing control centre requirements that brands need to support campaign success

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proven experience of driving Innovative Data Strategy
  • 5-10 years Technical background
  • Previous experience of working with Kantar, Nielsen, Experian.
  • Ability to translate technical terms, tool and infrastructure and able to translate into brand understanding
  • Confident with senior level engagement & Influencing skills
  • Passionate to change culture and upskill
  • Ability to manage people and get a strong performance from your team
