Inventory Buyer & Controller

This International distributor of manufacturing parts and components require an Inventory Buyer to be based at their offices in Bracknell and will liaise with colleagues in Europe and the USA.

You will be part of the purchasing and materials control team that manage over £350m of purchases annually throughout the EMEA, with material stock locations and manufacturing sites throughout Europe.

Your main task is to liaise with the sales, marketing and operational teams and support them through placing purchase orders to adhere to the planning and scheduling of the supply chain of products. Managing stock holding, delivery and transfer costs is crucial ensuring all information is communicated to all parties, coordinating cross-functional teams addressing invoice queries and delivery discrepancies

You will be an excellent communicator and negotiator with the ability to build and develop relationships in order to understand the critical importance of the details regarding stock- holding, delivery, planning and supply chain with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast based environment.
