An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading Food Organisation. Upfield is currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner based at Leatherhead (moving to Wimbledon later in the year) This is a full-time, temporary role for a period of 6 months, Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week, to start ASAP. The role is paying between £34,000 and £39,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

Your Role
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will ensure that both supply and demand are coordinated efficiently and accurately, playing a key role within the overall coordination of order output on time and in full. The space for personal career development and increased responsibilities with this role are huge, as the level of ownership from an early stage, the challenging environment, along with a supporting leadership team, all contributes to fantastic learning opportunities.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Review, challenge and build volume 18 month forward forecast as part of Sales & Operations Planning process
- Translate potential supply risks and ensure clear communication of these within the business
- Obsolete management (avoidance); identify obsolete risks, initiate and follow through required actions to avoid obsoletes
- Regular contact with Customer Account Managers to ensure accuracy of forecast and our ability to supply
- Undertake monthly Demand and Supply Balancing reviews to ensure appropriate decisions are taken to manage forecast volatility, supply reliability and service risks.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a similar role in Supply Chain
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills, including presenting and communicating with senior stakeholders
