Our client has expanded operations in the UK with a brand-new shiny Supply Chain Centre on Warrington's Omega site. The site has modern production equipment, a large warehouse facility and an impressive Transport and logistics function.

Therefore our client is currently hiring for Class 2 Drivers to join the team! This is a pretty important part of the process as it ensures the accurate, safe and timely delivery of goods to Stores throughout the UK and Ireland in line with the policies and standard operating procedures.

The driver must hold a good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation, Food Safety Standards and have a good geographic knowledge of UK roads; we need you to possess a full licence relevant to the Class 2 role.

You will be carrying out daily checks in line with Company procedure prior to leaving site to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, the load is safe and secure and the correct vehicle is being taken out by checking the load against the delivery paperwork.

Ideally you will have at least 6 months current driving experience with multi-drop delivery experience and standards and equipment in the chilled food industry as well as being able to deal with heavy goods, you will have the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with customers, colleagues and managers with the ability to work within a team to achieve daily targets.

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to have:

• Category C driving entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences. (No DD on IN)
• Valid Digi card and CPC card.

Role:

• Sunday to Thursday working - 4 night shifts a week
• 48hrs a week contract - Temp to Perm
• Potential for 4 - 9 drops a day.
• 5 - 6 weeks training
