Class 1 Drivers - Royal Mail

Manpower are currently looking to recruit a number of Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work for Royal Mail on a temporary on going basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading flagship company within the driving and logistics industry. Successful applicants will also benefit from the excellent rates of pay on offer, the hourly rate will start from a minimum of £10ph but once you have completed 12 weeks service, from your 13th week you will receive a minimum of £15.62ph.

The role is very much customer focused, whether that be doing customer collections / deliveries or ensuring the mail is kept moving within or the system, from hub to hub, to help deliver the great customer satisfaction that Royal Mail have build the reputation on, you will required to load and unload your own vehicle and all drivers must follow Royal Mails procedures at all times.

Full induction and driving assessment will be carried out prior to starting work. We will need to complete the Royal Mail Vetting which is the equivalent to a Basic DBS check on your behalf prior to starting.

Successful candidates must have the following;

Valid C+E Licence

Valid DQC Card

Valid Digi Tachograph Card

Professional drivers who are willing to be flexible and reliable to help us provide the best support we can to our client. Due to the nature of industry the shifts are 7 days a week and you maybe asked to cover shifts on short notice.
