Working for a giant amongst the Toy world, we are looking for an Insight Designer/ Researcher to work on a contract basis, into Spring 2019

The Insight Design function is responsible for ensuring that insights are in the heart and centre of new experience development in order to secure consumer desirability and relevance of the developed concept. The Insight Design function is also responsible for ensuring a targeted and agile flow of insights and inspiration to the various projects and workstreams on an ad hoc basis based on the needs of the individual projects.

The Insight Design function is also the project's interface towards the internal Global Insights function and fuel relevant insights generated here into the projects in CPL where relevant - e.g. through "connect the dot sessions"

Role of an insight designer:

  • Responsible for ensuring that consumers are always in the centre of our new experience development - from early ideation to validation and maturing to a level where a downstream team can scale it and that insights play a key role for decision making in projects
  • The objective is to explore, prove and validate, at a concept level, new, desirable and consumer relevant play experiences and business models for the business.
  • Contribute to idea and experience development in project teams
  • Will be working in various project teams and together with the rest of the project team, be responsible for delivering on agreed objectives.
  • Support market pilots by monitoring SoMe, qual and quant following up and extract learnings into holistic pictures

Skill-set:

  • Design and/or insight background/experience and at least 4-5 years concrete and recent experience
  • Experience with user driven design research
  • Experience facilitating sessions with children and adults as a moderator
  • Good understanding of children and child development
  • Experience working within the field of innovation and understands insights relevant to design thinking
  • Experience within research - has a well-developed research tool box - preferably both worked with qual and quant methods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Fluent in English (verbal and in writing)
