Infrastructure/Server Engineer L2

Became a part of best-in-class infrastructure team, responsible for 700+ physical and 140+ virtual servers onsite and around Europe. You will be working with first class IT services provider, working onsite in Leixlip.

Your job would be to:
*Create, manage, monitor and resolve Incident / Service requests, adhere to OLA and SLA.
*Responsible for executing Add/Move/Change of equipment inside the Data Centre.
*Equipment landing / decommission / scrapping.
*OS provisioning, configuration & administration.
*Cable management, asset management.
*Vendor escalation and escort inside DC.
*Responsible for weekly SMBWA to keep Data Centre in a safe condition.
*Responsible for all next level escalations and follow-ups in regards to incidents or service issues.
*Excellent customer communications and follow up.
*Ensuring accurate data is kept in POR Asset System and CMDB with regards to machine information, location, and our on-call information.
*24 X 7 On-call duties (1:3 rota)
*Media management and coordination with Offsite Tape Vendors.
*Responsible for remote sites troubleshooting
*Monthly site visit to a smaller site in West of Ireland for scheduled maintenance

To be successful you need:
*1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role
*Windows Server and Linux experience
*Experience with troubleshooting OS issues on physical and virtual platforms
*Knowledge of Server HW troubleshooting
*Hyper V, Apache, SQL
*Communication skills and good teamwork
