Marine Gas Turbine Trainer

GAS TURBINE TRAINER - Gosport - Salary: £29,240 to £31,367

Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 8:30am - 4:15pm
Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Responsibility of role:

*To deliver a high quality training delivery in the Gas Turbine area in line with Company standards and contractual requirements in the EMTC SOR.
*To instruct theoretical and practical technical training to the equipment and systems of RN warships and other Navies vessels in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan TSOP procedures. Subjects include Electrical/Electronic principles, Power & Distribution, High Voltage & Low Voltage systems, Electrical Test Equipment, Soldering and Crimping techniques
*To assist in maintaining and updating training documentation.
*To assess student course work and provide feedback on performance
*To be responsible for the duty of care of trainees during the delivery of training.
*To carry out the level 0 and level 1 training equipment maintenance for which suitable qualifications and experience are held.
*Ensure Company security, health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times. direction

Qualifications & Requirements:

*Previous experience in the application of gas turbine and/or diesel engines - Essential

*NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds level 3 in relevant engineering subject
