Manpower are currently recruiting for an administrator for their client GE Power, based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Role Summary/Purpose

The administrator will be responsible for supporting the business to ensure continuity of the processes around administration of the Craft GE technicians and temporary labour. As an integral part of the resource team, the administrator is key to ensuring the technicians are suitably qualified to support the business and customers whilst also ensuring that on site teams are adequately supported.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ensure Staff and site manpower timesheets and expenses are managed to the highest level of accuracy
  • Manage all aspects of the use of temporary labour (requests, invoices controls, timesheets, access formalities etc.)
  • Support the Resource management team for all administrative, logistic and organisational tasks related to the assignment of our FS staff
  • Support the Resource managers with short term and long term plans
  • Ensure certification completeness and assist in certification forecasting
  • Assist with coordinating technical training within the teams
  • At this level role holders are expected to assist the teams and also bring new ideas into the business to increase efficiency and develop tools to ensure process improvements. The administrator is responsible for assisting the resource management team ensuring that the back room activities are completed and that any issues are raised to drive timely resolution to challenges.

  • Field operations support experience, (not essential but preferred)
