Manpower are currently recruiting for an experienced administrator for their client based in Marchington, Uttoxeter to start immediately.

The purpose of this role is to manage the administration of the luxury assets auction cycle from receipt of assets to post-auction reconciliation. There will also be a requirement to be a front-line point of contact for customer enquiries and administration duties for our busy Retail division.

To be successful in this role the post holder will need to have strong administration skills, with excellent communication, self-management and customer service skills.

Duties:

  • Meeting and greeting customers and clients
  • Communicating with customers and clients via email, telephone and in-person
  • Responding to general auction queries
  • Verifying new bidder registrations by email and by telephone
  • Chasing payments for outstanding invoices
  • Cancelling and recording any unpaid invoices
  • Balancing on-line payments
  • Utilising in-house systems to verify customers' details and conclude auction sales
  • Preparing spreadsheets and correspondence
  • Taking cash and card payments and balancing these
  • Front of house management, providing a professional and welcoming environment for all site visitors during luxury public viewings
  • Following administrative procedures for luxury stock movement, internal and external
  • Picking and packing Luxury assets ready for customer, Royal Mail or courier collection
  • Providing condition reports for Luxury customers
  • Skills:

  • 1 year administration experience
  • Detail oriented communication and organisation skills
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast paced, evolving and unpredictable working environment
  • Flexibility to undertake additional tasks within the business if required
  • PC literate & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and working independently
  • This position is working 37.5 hours a week, paying £8.20ph. This is a temporary position with a view to turn permanent for the right candidate.
