Pick Up and Delivery Class 1 Drivers Days

Join one of the world's largest express delivery companies as a Day Pick Up and Delivery Class 1 Driver, working from Ramsbottom. This is one of the central hubs to our client's delivery network.

You role will involve collecting and delivering packages, making sure each item reaches its final destination on time and in excellent condition. You'll provide clear and timely proof of delivery, and will ensure your vehicle is clean, tidy, and in a serviceable condition.

As the face of our client's organisation, you'll deliver an excellent customer experience every time, making sure you exceed their expectations and introducing additional products and services when you can. Finally, you'll ensure all company standards, policies, procedures and agreements are adhered to, as in line with your induction training.

Our ideal Day Pick Up and Delivery Class 1 Driver will have a Class 1 licence, digital tachograph, and Driver CPC. You'll also have previous pick-up and delivery driving experience, and knowledge of Ramsbottom and the surrounding area.

These are ongoing positions with an opportunity to be taken on permanently, which benefit from paid holiday, maternity/paternity leave, sickness benefit, and a company pension scheme. A number of day shifts are available. After completion of 12 weeks under the Agency Workers Regulations your hourly pay increases to £11.52.
