Manpower is extremely proud to be working in partnership with our client. An established leader in plumbing and heating services, they are in need of a proven Sales Manager to join their team.

Working in busy office environment, the main responsibilities of this role are to manage and motivate a team of sales advisors by demonstrating first class leadership, management and coaching skills. Hitting performance targets on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Working with other managers and team leaders in order to ensure exceptional customer services.

This will include:

  • Communicates with sales advisors to set personal objectives for the day (in alignment with targets).
  • Communicates to team throughout the day to motivate them and provide focus.
  • Ensures that the department work load is prioritised in line with current initiatives.
  • Organises self in preparation for achieving the days objectives.
  • Minimise time spent on admin tasks and delegates where appropriate.
  • Reviews department progress at key points during the day.
  • Troubleshoots performance with team as and when required.
  • Responds appropriately and flexibly to unexpected peaks and troughs in work flow and demand.
  • Analyses statistics draws conclusions and levers to drive sales performance.
  • Set personal objectives for the week (in alignment with targets)
  • Reviews personal development plans and sets weekly development objectives for self and team.
  • Organises and carries out regular call monitoring, feedback and needs.
  • Facilitates weekly team meetings with own team.
  • Creates opportunities to share best practice and ideas within the department.
  • Review week's performance.
  • Confidently manage sickness, absence and conduct issues.

What skills and qualifications you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's at A-C grade including maths and English.
  • A history within customer service.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • An ability to work within a high pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Able to develop relationships across all levels.
  • Capability to deliver results against KPI's and targets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
