An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client a household name in home boilers as they are currently looking for Assembly Operatives to work shifts in Bamber Bridge, Preston. This is an ongoing temporary contract working 37 hours per week. Currently we are working 37 hour weeks, with hours of 7:05am to 4:45pm Mon-Thursday. This can drop to 37 hours with no Friday required later in the year. There are a number of short paid breaks throughout the day, coupled with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. Salary for 37 hours is up to £15738, pro rata.

KEY TASKS:

The assembly of a variety of domestic heating products in a fully flexible team working environment.

Ability to operate standard production line hand and air tools.

Use of standard production line equipment (including lifting and test equipment).

Experienced in production/assembly line techniques.

Conform into a flexible "team working" environment.

Ability to read and understand the Product Work Instructions.

Work to the existing agreed productivity standard (100 PI).

Maintain the current AQL (agreed quality levels).

Maintain BSI Health & Safety and Environmental Standards in accordance with the Company's HSE Policy.

The ability to calculate and log the daily/weekly production volume.

Any other associated duties.

COMPLEXITY AND CREATIVITY:

Individuals should be manually dexterous, with the ability to work at 100 PI consistently, while achieving a high standard of product quality.

Ability to monitor and log the daily/weekly production volumes.

Proven previous Production experience.

This role requires you to stand for significant periods of time.
