Project Manager-Medium & High Voltage

Manpower is seeking a Project Manager with a background in Electrical Installation, either low voltage (LV) or, ideally, high voltage (HV) to join the UK's leading provider of energy solutions to be based in Yorkshire. Established for over fifteen years, our client is a privately owned company that is recognised throughout the High Voltage industry for their outstanding customer satisfaction and their commitment to employee engagement, which includes an annual all-expenses paid overseas trip for the entire workforce.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the cost efficient procurement, the control of all project resources (labour, plant and materials) to ensure the efficient delivery of the works in relation to 11kV and 33kV new connections in a safe manner including the coordination of works with the client's site team, DNO inspecting engineers and highway authorities.

As the Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of new connections, duties will include:

Managing new connections projects, covering HV installation and construction activities

Typical value of the projects can range from £10k-£100k.

Ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget

Financial control of projects

Health & Safety

Liaise with Highways Agency, Local Authority and Distribution Network Operator (DNO)

Management of contractors and materials

We would love to hear from candidates with experience of working on HV projects (11kV / 33kV) ideally from an installation perspective (switchgear, transformers, substations, DNO, private networks). A driving licence and the willingness to travel for projects is essential.
