HV Fitter - Wakefield

Manpower is pleased to announce a great opportunity for a HV Fitter at our client who is a leading energy solutions provider. Working with some of the biggest brands in the UK, as a HV Fitter you will play a key role in maintaining and servicing their power supplies throughout Yorkshire. The business places a lot of emphasis on career development, and they have a proven record of helping their Fitters reach new heights within the business. Because of this, they are now looking for a Fitter that has the drive to learn new skills and progress in their role. Covering the Midlands region, as HV Fitter you will visit the company's clients that work within sectors such as Retail, Manufacturing, Renewables and Construction. Your responsibilities will include providing scheduled or reactive maintenance to the business's power supplies on client sites. Maintaining and servicing high voltage switch gear and low voltage panels, liaising with clients to maintain a first-class level of customer service when required and ensuring that all company documentation is filled out accurately. Because the business will invest in your skills, they are open to individuals of all levels of experience. The existing skills and experience that they would like you to have so that they can build on should include having experience of working with high voltage (HV) power supplies (11kv - 33kv) You will have a good working knowledge of switch gear including low-voltage panels and the desire to learn and develop new skills The company in return can offer a great hourly rate of up to £14.50 per hour depending on experience, as well as a company vehicle, mobile phone and expenses. In addition, whilst this role is field-based and is Monday to Friday, there is fantastic opportunity for overtime which is paid at premium rates, you will also be paid for travel to sites. As this role is field-based, candidates must have a full UK driving license.
