If you are looking for challenging role where you can develop your administration skills and take your career to the next level - then this role is for you!

ASSET RISK ANALYST

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management and coordination of supervising contract information received into the department, ensuring this is integrated into point of sale systems as applicable. Delivery of this ensures that the correct terms of business are available in point of sale systems.
  • Oversee the availability of new vehicles ensuring only relevant and current information is presented. Ultimately controlling what is available for quotation by the Volkswagen Fleet department, this includes vehicles that are available through a portal on the open internet which VWFS have in excess of 20,000 quotes a month during a non-peak month.
  • Facilitate the resolution of enquiries and requests into the shared mailbox ensuring these are followed up to completion.

KEY CHALLENGES

The key challenges experienced:

  • Balancing the need for contracts to be legally binding and in line with company guidelines regarding the signing and completion of contracts with the need for the Volkswagen Fleet teams desire to use the terms of the contract within their quotations for customers and external agencies.
  • Interpreting legal contracts, these can be written in such a way that is required to ensure something is legally binding but leaves the outline of the requirements ambiguous. It is vital that we gain, in writing, from the offending brand the correct terms that they are referring to ensure there is no financial loss to the organisation.
  • Change in vehicle information from data suppliers. This query is frequent from the Volkswagen Fleet team; they rely on the knowledge and expertise of the Asset Risk team to advise them on vehicle changes, information and specification. It can be problematic to locate the correct source of the truth, this often involves speaking with the brand supplying the vehicle, CAP supplying the vehicle data and the Volkswagen Fleet team to keep them informed of changes if applicable. It may require manual intervention or notification to the Fleet portal that communicates with 100's of customer informing them of the matter.
  • Providing information proving that we are due funds which we are requesting. Retailers do not always use the correct RFO codes and brands change the discounts they are offering frequently meaning payment is not always directed in the correct way. We collect millions of pounds of reclaim funds each year and have a certain timescale in which to claim this and provide the supporting documentation that ensures payment will be received.
  • Timescales that contracts are required by are not always delivered in sufficient time meaning decisions have to be made to prioritise workloads. Some tenders provide contracts for 10 brands at short notice, both internal and external and will require analysis as to what will be used for quotation and what may be negated.

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (NO WEEKENDS!)

PAY: £10.15
