We are looking for an outgoing temporary Telesales Representative to contribute to generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone, identifying larger opportunities that require a field visit and maintaining good customer relationships.

We are looking for an excellent communicator with superior people skills. You must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as overcoming objections.

The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.

If successful there is the possibility of a permanent position. Hours of work are flexible. The position is based at Camberley. There is scope for home working but training/meetings at Camberley will have to be attended. The position reports to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to)

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about AVM's range of products and services
  • Answer questions about products or the company
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed, if possible making appointment
  • Enter and update customer information in the database
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner
  • Handle objections to preserve the company's reputation
  • Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
  • Identify commonly recurring barriers

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota over the phone
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resilient, calm and able to handle rejection
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues
  • Self- motivated and able to work on own initiative
