Internal Sales Executive
Our UK leading client based in Faversham is looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive.
As an Internal Sales Executive, your role will involve:
- To price and quote on products, then follow up and endeavour to secure contracts with customers
- Monitor future contracts and plan leads using the sales tracking system
- Promote and sell their services and products
- Use sales platform tool to help develop the selection of customers and contracts, whilst improving the quotation conversion rate
- Maintain and improve customer relationships
- Liaise and support the External Sales Team - Manage their diaries, liaise on all contracts and pass sales leads
- Attend monthly sales and strategy meetings - provide market information as and when required
- Analysis of customer trading patterns (past and present)
- Assist in maintaining and improving their service levels
- Support distribution team with entering customer orders on to the system, as and when required
- Update and maintain accurate sales related admin
The successful applicant will need to have the following qualities/skills:
- Proven proactive sales skills with excellent negotiation
- Construction industry knowledge preferred but not essential
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and able to work using your own initiative
- Team player
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
In return you will benefit from 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, contributory pension scheme and onsite car parking.
Hours: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
Salary: £24,000-£26,000 depending on experience plus annual bonus of up to 5% based on company and personal performance.
