Manpower Southampton are looking for Warehouse operatives on a temp to perm basis to start with our well known Client in Hedge End on Monday 1st October 2018. You must be available 1pm to 5pm on Friday 28th September 2018 for your induction.
Job Role:
- To assist the team leaders to ensure that inventory is picked, checked and loaded in an efficient and effective manner, complying with all appropriate procedures, to meet customer service and KPI targets as part of the operations team.
- To ensure that all activities undertaken within the operation comply with the relevant Health & Safety and Fire regulations.
- Ensure all equipment (including property, vehicles, mechanical handling equipment and racking) is operated in a safe and effective manner with cognisance of any statutory requirements, and in accordance with Company Policy.
- Ensure that the team leaders are informed of all stock breakages, or other stock variances, in a timely manner.To ensure that excellent standards of housekeeping are maintained across the site at all times.
- Adhere to all training guidelines
- Comply with all health & safety requirements including use of PPE at all times.
- To ensure vehicles are safely loaded to enable efficient and timely delivery, complying with all relevant legislation.
- To ensure that picking locations are replenished in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures,
- To ensure all paperwork is completed in a legible fashion, inline with Company procedures and statutory legislation.
- Any other reasonable requests, as required by the Team Leaders

Hours:
- Monday to Friday, you will be required to work a minimum of 8 hours between 6am and 6pm, flexibility is essential.
Requirements:
- GCSE Maths & English preferred
- Good knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment, including Red Prairie where appropriate.
- Must have the ability to work in a team.
- Must be physically able to complete all assigned work efficiently.
- Must possess time management skills and be able to meet targets.
- Current Reach/Counterbalance FLT license desirable
