An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our client in Luton on a Part Time Basis (20 hours Flexible working arrangement). Paying £30.00 P/h Ltd, this role is temporary with a possibility to extend for the right candidate.
Our client is a leading provider on its market segment, Smart Energy manufactures residential, commercial and industrial gas and electric meters, including smart meters, software and data analytics solutions. This $1.1b GBE essentially comes from the recent Elster acquisition (Dec'15) and now includes 5 Lines of Business spanning across the 3 global regions. Our GBE is a critical growth engine for HBT, surfing on the wave of Smart Meters roll-outs, increasing energy efficiency demand, and expanding Smart City projects.
We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to be part of the EMEA SAP implementation project and provide support to overall project team during implementation of project. This position will play a key role in improving processes, and system implementation
Responsibilities:
- Part of Finance SAP implementation team and working closely with the project team (Production, Planning, Procurement, IT, R&D etc.)
- Data Validation, User acceptance testing, Maintaining and testing Financial transactions in FI, CO and MM module
- Testing and validation of supplier, customer and materials master data
- Testing of intercompany transactions and General ledger transactions and scripts
- Setting up standard costing processes in SAP
- Standardisation of financial processes as part of SAP implementation project
- Training and documentation of processes for other finance users
- Ad hoc analysis upon request
Experience Required:
- Experience in Finance for at least 5 years
- SAP implementation experience in Finance - GL, FI and CO modules
- Experience of working in Finance in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of Business partnering with non-finance colleagues
Education:
- Degree in Finance - Demonstrated analytical and business partnering skills
- Proficient in SAP
- Advanced user of MS Excel
- IT or process improvement experience will be a plus
