Manpower is seeking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join a dealer workshop based in Belfast.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress their career in a modern workshop environment, working on some of the most up to date vehicle technologies.

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician, preferably with franchise experience however this is not essential.

Candidates from a private garage background will be considered, experience within VW Group brands is preferred.

What you will be doing

You will carry-out mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs to customer vehicles, understanding the vehicles condition and carrying out necessary repairs, ensuring customer vehicles are repaired right first time and following warranty procedures when needed.

Undertake diagnostics to identify vehicle problems using technical equipment and diagnostic tools, determine how long service or repair will take and conduct routine mechanical and electrical service on a range of vehicles.

Identify and repair complex vehicle problems efficiently

Vehicle health checks, MOT checks, diagnostics and general mechanic repairs.

What you will need

• Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
• Experience as a vehicle mechanic and good knowledge of diagnostics
• Experience working in a modern vehicle workshop
• Full clean driving license
