Desk Clerk:
We have great temporary opportunities to join us, through Manpower, as a desk clerk at our office in Gosport. You will be supporting many government employees by processing applications, answering queries and providing effective communication within given time constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the processing of applications to aid Service Personnel in purchasing a house.
  • Assess initial applications received from Service Personnel through workflow using the Oracle System
  • Assess and ensure all criteria is met when full applications are received
  • Converse with units and solicitors to ensure all the correct information is acquired in a timely manner
  • Answering queries from Service Personnel/ Units and Third Parties though various types of media including the phone/e-mail and Oracle System
  • Able to see the claim through to the final stage including payment to solicitors
  • Daily interaction with various other Teams in DXC and Third Parties including Solicitors/Financial Advisors
  • Report direct to the BPO HASS Supervisors Flexibility in working in other areas when requested
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team

Skills:

  • Strong letter writing skills
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate around various databases
  • Accuracy is an essential requirement
  • Solid communication and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills to interact and present management information to team members, customers and senior management

Working hours:
Mon-Friday between the hours of 7am -4:30pm -there is opportunity of working flexi-time.
