Job Description

We are looking for someone who is able to represent the company from arrival through to departure. Every driver represents the business on client's site's so customer service is very important with the ability to undertake all tasks with complete regard for confidentiality, courtesy, and environmental awareness.

We are currently recruiting for a class 1 driver to work for an excellent local client based in Swindon. This multi-pick up role has great flexibility, opportunities for overtime (paid at time and a half) as well as a quarterly performance based bonus scheme where you could earn an additional £1,500.

You will be required to work 4 days per week on the following rotational shift pattern:

Monday - Thursday, Tuesday - Friday, Wednesday - Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the pick-up and clean-up of the client's area.
• Driving within the posted speed limits.
• Follow all rules of defensive driving.
• Obey all traffic laws.
• Obey all municipal bylaws regarding hours of stationary operation (parking).
• Only use mobile whilst the truck is stationary.
• Lifting in role (normal weight is approx. (15-25kg).
• Drivers are required to lift and carry bags frequently throughout the day. Therefore, physical fitness and physical strength are essential to the job - Lifting Belts (back support) and trolleys are available.

Essential Requirements for the Role:

• Current valid driving
• Category C+E licence
• CPC
• No previous criminal convictions
• Clean driving license
• Good spoken English language skills are required.
