Installations Project Manager

An Installations Project Manager vacancy within a manufacturer of bespoke ventilation and environmental machinery has become available. The role is to run the Projects Department and to ensure the smooth delivery of industrial ventilation projects and servicing contracts. As the Project Manager you will be responsible to grow and develop the department to advance the delivery of projects including development of team members, client's satisfaction and profitability. You will require a full understanding of the design, quotation, installation, commissioning and testing of local exhaust ventilation and evaporative cooling systems.

The Responsibilities

  • Taking out jobs, liaising with client and site teams, ordering materials ensuring materials on site.
  • Carry out detailed site surveys, design and quotation of complex systems.
  • Successful running of installation, servicing or testing projects.
  • Full understanding of LEV systems, design, quotation, installation.
  • The ability to instruct engineers/ trainee engineers to co-ordinate jobs effectively and efficiently.
  • The ability to pick up any short fall within the engineering department.
  • The ability to co-ordinate with other departments smoothly and efficiently.
  • Direct involvement in shaping the progression of engineers/ trainee knowledge base.
  • To be able to independently look after clients needs.
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with latest health and safety legislation.
  • Be able to produce and work from drawings and sketches provided and able to solve problems using your own experience and initiative.
  • Be able to carryout site surveys and produce detailed accurate reports.

    • £30,000 - £40,000+ (Dependant on Experience)
