Warehouse Operative

Manpower are currently hiring experienced warehouse workers on behalf of some of the biggest names in the market, including Royal Mail, Hermes, and many more established organisations. WHAT TO EXPECT

Joining us as a Warehouse Worker, you'll act in a flexible capacity, handling warehouse duties for our key clients in a variety of sectors and industries. You'll be picking and packing parcels and handling paperwork and / or electronic tracking equipment such as barcode scanners and pick-by-light systems.

You may end up working alone or as part of a team, driven by targets and KPIs to ensure success. You'll be responsible for managing your own section or function with the warehouse and potentially supporting colleagues.

Shift work is common in many of our warehouse roles, along with further opportunities to maximise your earnings through overtime and additional hours. When you apply for a warehouse position, we'll call you, giving you an insight into the job and finding the right client to suit your needs.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You'll need to be capable of working in a busy warehouse environment, walking between stations or areas and lifting and carrying a wide variety of parcels and objects of varying weights and sizes.

We're looking for reliable, trustworthy people who take pride in making sure parcels, letters and Christmas presents are delivered on time. This means you'll have the ability to manage paperwork and input data, as you'll be handing over parcels and dealing with logistics documents on a daily basis.
