Manpower are currently recruiting for a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst for East Midlands Ambulance Service based in Nottingham. This role is starting immediately and is initially expected to last for 3 months with a view to be extended for the right candidate. The successful candidate will work as part of a rota covering the service desk Monday - Friday between 08.00 - 18.00.

Duties:

  • Answer telephone calls from internal users and have an excellent phone manner
  • Log records with clear and descriptive information using ServiceNow
  • Provide troubleshooting over the phone and face to face with users
  • Be familiar with ITIL principles as well as Incident, Request, Change and Asset Management
  • Be able to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Be able to work to set deadlines and SLAs
  • Familiarity with any of the following is desired but not essential:

  • Active Directory
  • ServiceNow
  • Microsoft RDS
  • Network Printers
  • Desktop software (Microsoft Office 365 etc.)
  • Cisco AnyConnect and Cisco hardware
  • Sophos SafeGuard
  • Remote Desktop Administration
  • VMWare
  • Mobileiron & Smartphones
  • Getac Tablets
  • ITIL foundation certified
  • Experience working in a Service Desk environment
  • The successful candidate will be paid between £8.01 - £9.53/ph depending on experience.
