Production Operatives

A successful product manufacturing company is currently recruiting for x3 Production Operatives to join a prosperous team, based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire on a temporary to permanent basis. The ideal candidates would to be physically fit (able to lift heavy items and objects) with good team-working and observational skills. Successful candidates will be required to work 6.00am - 2.30pm Monday - Friday with additional over-time regularly in the afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities will be;

• Assisting in the manufacture of products by adopting good workmanship standards
• Checking products for quality on the production lines and removing faulty items
• Assisting with packaging materials and labels
• General house-keeping as and when required including sweeping
• Packaging of all finished items when required
• Assisting with the preparation of deliveries daily including checking stock for dispatch, unloading / loading of vehicles

• Good team-working skills and the ability to work on your own
• Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
• Good standards of personal hygiene
