Specialist Engineering Recruitment Consultant- Newcastle

The Role

We are looking for 2 x motivated Specialist Engineering Recruitment Consultants, one to focus on the White Collar Engineering and one to focus on Blue Collar Engineering sector, to join our extremely successful Technical Team in our busy office in the heart of Newcastle. This job will involve using your strong communication and sales skills to proactively grow new client accounts, and to develop strong relationships with existing clients.

Manpower is a global recruitment solutions provider, and the Specialist Technical team here in Newcastle currently supply local, national and international clients with both their Permanent and Temporary staffing requirements.

The Specialist Engineering Recruitment Consultants will focus on white collar roles or blue collar roles within industries such as petrochemical, energy and power, utilities, heavy engineering, Telecoms, transport and renewable energy. The Opportunity

Daily duties will involve targeted sales; enthusiastically spreading the word about our services via a mixture of cold calling, face-to-face sales visits, and networking events. Other duties will include nurturing existing client relationships, quoting bill rates to clients and sourcing suitable candidates using a range of tools including advertising and social media outlets.

The role involves a high degree of autonomy with the opportunity for wide geographical coverage. Though based from the North East, you would be expected to link in with our Branch network UK wide to explore and follow up additional business opportunities.

We are therefore looking for a self-motivated, ambitious person who is happy to go the extra mile to provide the very best service to both our clients and candidates.

The role will be supported by an established delivery support team , to enable maximum sales fulfilment.

Prior recruitment or sales experience is advantageous, especially in the engineering white collar or blue collar sector, alongside experience of utilising CRM systems, social media and networking tools.
