Working for a wold renowned Education establishment, we are looking for a Paid Media Manager to working with a marketing team with a clear and exciting vision, delivering outstanding marketing and communications activities. The department is responsible for developing marketing and communications strategy through a combination of campaign management, brand and corporate communications and is now in need of a Paid Media Manager along with their 2 direct reposts to enhance this!

The main responsibilities of the role will be -

  • The management of paid media campaigns that generate leads and/or raise brand awareness.
  • Owning the relationship with the media and search agencies (paid and organic).
  • To manage the media strategy and creative development through to production, optimisation and reporting.
  • Responsibilities also include the tracking, optimization and ongoing analysis of all paid advertising campaigns including display (banners, rich media, mobile and video), pay per click (PPC), email and offline (print and OOH).
  • The role requires strong relationship and leaderships skills, attention to detail, budget management experience, strong creative and strategic sensibility, along with an interest in innovation and continuous testing.

  • Design and delivery of high-quality, integrated paid media campaigns.
  • Contribution to increased engagement levels through media campaigns or initiatives.
  • Media campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to quality standards.
  • Contribution to innovation within own area.
  • Production of high-quality reports, with complex analysis to support management decision-making.
  • High-quality work delivered by agencies and media owners.
  • Strong cross-team working relationships developed with key stakeholders - Marketing, Degree Education and Executive Education.
  • Improvements in commercial performance for the team or department.
  • Manage a paid media budget of >£2m
  • It would be great if you have -


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Professional qualification (e.g. CIM, IMD) or equivalent experience - thorough knowledge of marketing principles, theory and practice (B2C and/or B2B).
    • Up-to-date knowledge of the advertising industry and technological advancements.
    • Knowledge of business education and competitor organisations.
    • Knowledge of campaign tracking and ad serving tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and DoubleClick. Knowledge of ad attribution is a bonus.
    • Experience of leading/playing a part in innovative projects, campaigns or initiatives.
    • Experience of managing contractors and/or agencies.
    • Financial management experience and commercial acumen.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of audiences.
    • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
    • Detail oriented and can work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment and meet deadlines.
    Self-starter and fast learner with the ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively
