Working for a wold renowned Education establishment, we are looking for a Copywriter to work within the Marketing and Communications department.

The department is responsible for developing marketing and communications strategy through a combination of campaign management, brand and corporate communications.


You will be working with the Senior Editor and others to create branded content to support the business strategy. To raise the profile and brand and to meet revenue and quality targets through producing engaging, imaginative and accurate copy that will feature across a full range of media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Management

  • Draft and develop accurate, relevant brand content and materials to set a brief in line with editorial content and other brand activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), ability to work effectively with high-level stakeholders.
  • Ideas generation and tenacity to follow through.
  • Ability to digest complex information and produce accessible, highly readable content.
  • Versatility: able to create different types of written content, including long-form articles, blogs, profiles and SlideShares.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders within the business
  • Produce copy that matches the highest standards in the sector including national newspaper, news, websites and trade press
  • Meet and arrange deadlines

KPI's

  • Delivery of high quality brand content
  • Contribution to the overall success of the brand initiatives
  • Content delivered on time and to the highest quality
  • Identification of trends and innovations

Qualifications/Skills/Experience ideal for this role

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in copywriting, ideally in a business context
  • Professional qualification or equivalent experience
  • Deep interest in business matter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good at working under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
