Deskside Support Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue chip IT company, is currently seeking a Deskside Support Engineer based on their customer site in Fareham. This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5:15pm, starting ASAP. The role is paying up to £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience. **Must already have SC clearance in place - please do not apply without this, as it cannot be provided**
Our Client is looking for a highly customer focused Deskside Support Engineer at their site in Fareham. You will be technically competent, possess good communication skills and be willing to collaborate with wider IT support teams.
This is an exciting and varied role and responsibilities include:
Ensure that helpdesk calls are responded to and completed within timescales provided by the Client
Install hardware, software & anti-virus software in accordance with documented procedures, testing before rollout
Liaise with internal and external support groups and other organisations regarding maintenance and support issues
Maintain the security of network services
If you have strong customer support and communication skills with a working knowledge of MS Office Suite this could be your ideal role.
