999 Emergency Call Handler

An exciting opportunity to join the NHS for 999 Emergency Call Handlers has risen in our Bicester branch.

In our contact centre, you will play a key role in delivering life-saving support to the general public. Whilst working in a well-established and organised busy team within the South Central Ambulance Service.

This is a Full time role with a Competitive salary from £8.53 - up to £10.78 (plus NHS benefits).

You will receive 28 days holiday which will increase to 35 days once training and probation passed. Whilst working within the NHS if you work during the hours of 7pm-7am you will automatically receive a 25% increase on top of your hourly rate.

During the first 4 weeks you will be provided with training in a classroom and a further 8 weeks on the job training. All we are asking is that Candidates have

• Attention to detail
• Must be Computer Literate.
• Are keen to learn new skills and develop
• Able to work under pressure
• Are computer literate including in MS Office packages
• Minimum of 2 GCSE'S C or above/ NVQ Equivalent
