Postal Worker - Barnstable - Temporary - £8.20 per hour

Manpower is pleased to be working with the Royal Mail to find temporary Postal Workers. The role will be based in Barnstaple, but you will be working in surrounding towns and villages. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 4 weeks working 30 hours a week. This role is available with an immediate start.

About the role

As a Royal Mail Postal Worker your daily activities will include delivering letters and small parcels in and around the Barnstaple area. You will need to arrive at the depot by 7am each day and will then go out with another driver to deliver all the letters to one area before moving on to the next location. You will normally work no more than a maximum of 6 hours per day.

About the candidate

To succeed in the role of Postal Worker you must be a punctual and trustworthy person. You must be someone who is happy being on their feet all day and working outside in all weather conditions. You will be working 5 days a week to include some Saturday working. To apply for this role you must have a drivers licence; although this is not necessarily a driving role there may be the requirement to drive on occasion. A DBS check will also be required for this role.

About the application process

The interviews for this role will be held on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th of October in Exeter. The role will then start later that week, with the latest possible start date being 29th October.
