Warehouse Operative/Drivers Mates

Manpower Belfast Driving and Logistics is now recruiting for a number of warehouse operatives/drivers mates to work on behalf of their new client in Belfast. This role will provide cover for both the warehouse and onward delivery driving - assisting the van or lorry driver making the customer deliveries and may include the assembly of customer orders.

The successful candidates will be joining a small hard-working team, which must perform to a high standard. You will be highly motivated, have great attention to detail with a "can do and will do" attitude to work.

A good understanding of written and spoken English is essential due to the interaction with paperwork from lots of different companies in various formats and dealing with customers face to face.

A good understanding of working in a Warehouse environment, this is a very physical environment with lifting, pushing and pulling furniture to include sofas/mattresses and Beds. Dealing with White goods for loading and unloading along with other material, which must be handled with care to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be required to work from 7am to finish. Duties to include:

Order-picking and material preparation for customer deliveries.

Help and support for the delivery drivers to load and unload their vehicles for the day to day workload.

Goods inwards sorting and inspection of material for short term storage.

Making Customer deliveries.
