Job Summary: Your primary role is to create detailed transcriptions of confidential Financial conversations with an excellent level of accuracy to meet the required quality. Transcriptions are then labelled using unique financial terminology, relating to Mortgages, Pensions and Wealth Management. Undertake duties within a fast paced environment, working accurately and efficiently at all times in accordance with my clients' systems, standards, processes and procedures, adhering to strict guidelines of confidentiality in accordance with ISMS27001.

Responsibilities:


  • Transcribe confidential Financial conversations with excellent levels of accuracy as set out by their in-house software programme
  • Upskill, through training, specific Financial services topics relevant to the conversations being transcribed such as Mortgages, Pensions and Wealth management
  • Provide analysis of the transcriptions by labelling key topics of conversation as set out by their clients
  • Work with transcription equipment that can include speech recognition and computer software
  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality according to provider standards and data protection regulations
  • Comply with internal policies, in particular raising any concerns over security issues

Skills and Experience:


  • You will be: Keen to learn and contribute, diligent, focused on the quality of your work, fully committed to security of confidential data
  • Advanced typing skills preferred but not essential
  • Effective listening and concentration skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, with particular emphasis on spelling, punctuation and grammar
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to work within deadlines
  • A motivated and dedicated approach to work
  • Desirable but not essential: experience within an organisation that services a regulated industry (e.g. Financial Services, Police, Health, Military)
  • Knowledge of computers and common programmes

Qualifications


  • Minimum 5 GCSEs/O levels Grade A-C including English & Maths
  • Higher education preferred but not essential
